VALORANT, LoL and TFT all got announced at the same time

Format isn't announced, but for LoL last year they invited Top 2 of each league, while TFT runs as a Team Format instead

What actually even gets played here (event wise) all I can think of is MENA playoffs simply being on LAN and that shouldn't be a bad thing

How is this going to even work when EWC runs through Stage 2 of VCT?

Only way it works is teams who already gave up on qualifying for Champs play EWC and they field in Reserve roster for Stage 2

VCT Americas is neither funded or hosted by the US government. EWC IS directly funded by the Saudi Arabian government. That's the difference.
