Favorites (Teams that are expected by their fans to win. This tier is impossible to order):

G2: They’ve beaten pretty good teams and they’ve done so dominantly. Nothing else really to say, just good Valorant.
VIT: Derke, Less, Sayf, and Trexx are all S-tier players and Kicks has been stepping it up.
EDG: Impossible to know if they’ve gotten better or worse relatively because China doesn’t offer good competition, but they won Champions 2024 so anything less wouldn’t be justified.
DRX: Because of the massive roster shifts in Pacific and PRX being dogshit it’s hard to scale either rep from this region. Assuming the same average skill in Pacific though, they are favorites unless proven otherwise.

Contenders (Teams nobody would be extremely surprised if won):

TH: Rolled by VIT, but two-time runner ups in 2024 so anything less wouldn’t be justified.
T1/GENG: Excellent rosters on paper but have exploitable weaknesses right now—both teams feel like they are heavily relying on player quality, and that’s a must fix for Bangkok.

Underdogs (Teams that nobody is expecting to win other than diehard fans):

SEN/MIBR: Worse than G2 by a long shot. Have looked really shaky against really mid teams (in the case of MIBR, even lost to 100T though they’ve shown improvement).
TRACE: Non-EDG Chinese team.

You don't know ball. Trace beat EDG once dominantly and then the grand finals maps were 14-12 11-13 and 14-16 (and then 2-13 lol). They're very close to each other, don't underrate them just cause they're the china second seed, china's not a bad region anymore

You decided to look at only one of my points my friend, I'd like to reiterate Trace and EDG are very close in skill level, having EDG 3rd and Trace 8th shows you don't know what you're talking about. This Trace team made champs playoffs last year by beating Lev and Vitality, they're a good team. Also, how the fuck are we meant to determine a region's skill level at this point then? There haven't been any internationals yet this year dumbass, all we have to go off of is regionals. You're assumedly going off of pervious years, which is a worse metric to go off of, teams and regions look incredibly different year from year. I wouldn't even care about the Trace placement if you had given an actual reason, but you clearly just don't watch China, stop talking

I still feel FUT may make it over TH bcz FUT has made it look easy mostly but they have clearly not hit their gears on stage yet , they are better than what they have shown till now.
But all I know they may not even turn up today and lose to Liquid

DRX maybe. with pacific changing so much it's possible that they're just the best of a dogshit region.

maybe agree with SEN being contenders but they'd be the worst of that tier.

I feel like everyone of these teams could win it except for MIBR. Aspas isn't enough to beat all of these teams who look insane like g2, vit (atleast in a bo5 its too much for the goat). I also wouldn't underestimate Trace. They're not completely underdogs anymore. they beat vitality and lev champs. now its their 2nd international and they look the same lvl as edg kinda.
