To be clear, in Project A, shooting matters. You don't kill with abilities. Abilities create tactical opportunities to take the right shot. Characters have abilities that augment their gunplay, instead of fighting directly with their abilities.

in ranked abilities usually don't kill but in pro play there's a lot of ability kills because of util combos

if you're getting naded and aftershocked at the same time and you die it's not because those abilities kill but because the enemies coordinated their abilities

that's what people mean by abilities kill though, no one is dying to a dry raze nade
that aside I don't really have complains with abilities killing myself, I was just elaborating
