Xlg v Wolves. Many expected wolves to be a top 3/4 team in China and expected them to beat Xlg however they lost.

GX v BBL. BBL didn’t even have their full roster for this game and GX on paper seemed better. The fact that BBL won is a pretty big upset.

EG v Loud. High expectations for EG from their offseason results and the pickup of Yay whereas many expected Loud to be a bottom team after the loss of Less + Saadhak. Loud won pretty easily 2-0.

i feel like everyone is forgetting bbl 3-1ed gx a month and a half before this match, or at least is completely discounting it

they were dominant in that series and i feel like thats a very big indicator of how its going to go

i get not having their full roster, but real ones saw the spark
i have very high hopes for them going forwards and tbh dont see what everyone else was hyping up abt gx

tomaszy and runner were both the weakest players on their respective teams last year (disregarding igls) and yet everyone was so high up on them

EG vs LOUD isn’t an upset. EG and y0y always get overrated every time, and LOUD is underrated

Idk how XLG vs WOL is considered an upset, I watched a lot of Chinese off/season events and for me XLG is the top team
