he’s still going to be better than most of the duelists securing top 3, did you forget that he as an individual can fry games often? he was a top 5 player in vct 2023 on a dysfunctional team, still had great stats at champs not being too far off from his madrid peak. he’ll be fine next year especially with his jett improving

Zekken can become completely invisible on any map maybe as often as he pops off. And with john as an iniator this year instead of sacy it feels like the utility is not as good, making zekken entry the site without any support, although that is a team issue at this point. So imo zekken will be fine but his team might hold him back from being one of the best duelist stats wise.
