I actually didn't think of it as an "only for Kickoff" event but dang! That's a great idea. If it was only for Kickoff, I think it would be an awesome and unique format

That is a valid point. Teams at the bottom of the leaderboard will have nothing to play for, except I guess if they implement something like a circuit point but that's too much of a stretch.
That's a really good point although I do think it will not be as bad as you think. Each team has 3 bans each and has the liberty to ban the map the other team has played last (except if it's the first game) but even if it is, the map picked is obviously a "good" map of both teams, or else they would've banned it.
I would also argue against the team "only being good" at certain maps because there is no way to tell what the other team will ban. Even if you only perma ban 3 maps, that's just ONE more ban than the current format.
Edit: All of these "cons" doesn't outweigh the benefit of a BO1 Round Robin to the health of the ESport
I apologize to everyone who I got trolled and also for not explaining. I stand by my opinion and here are my arguments:
There won't be any flukes since it will not be a single/double elimination tournament, but one team player every other team in one map, 12 teams total so each team will play 11 matches. I would argue the current format has more fluke bias since worst case scenario, you're only going to play 4 maps. That is way too less of a sample size to determine if one team is actually good than playing 11 matches.
You're the type of person who claps when the plane lands.
I hate the current format so much. I would much rather prefer a BO1 (because BO3s have too much games) where teams play each one of other team.
It depends on the IEM. Moondrop CHU II has two variants, one has no mic and one has DSP and Mic. I bought the no mic since I already have a mic setup.
Go for IEMs instead of “gaming” headphones. The one I use is Moondrop Chu II. So much better than any headphones I’ve ever used.
that sucks if true. do you happen to have the source link?
Would love for GE to win this (PatrickWatson the goat) but I would guess TS would take this match since they have better team chem than GE.
Imagine arriving at the conclusion about a player's game by looking at numbers lmfao. It is clear that you haven't watched any of his pro games.
Have yet to watch this one but it's in my recommended
Why Narrate on Sentinel Makes Sense: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZakgDuxdFQ
It's the same guy (PatrickWatson = Yokam = PatrickWho). He is just very new to the game (6 months playing ranked) so he's still not sure what his IGN would be
Yokam is so good. I have watched him in Tier 2 and trust me, you can always bet on him getting at least one Ace every series lol
I agree Jremy should not be kicked but I also think they should pick up someone else as their Jett
I did watch the games. And if you did, you’d realize that even with TS losing ALL pistols (again with most of them bc Primmie is just good not only on pistols but even on full buy rounds where you can always guarantee him getting multi kills), they still went 11-13 on both maps.
I disagree on this take. The two maps were really close and if weren’t for Primmie fragging the shit out of every TS player, Talon would have lost.
I don’t think Jremy should be kicked (I forgot to mention it in my post my bad) but I do think someone needs to fill in a Jett role, and Jremy still on Raze. Jremy has played a lot of Senti before so I think this should be considered by the coaching staff. I’m just not convinced he is an X-factor on Jett
Even with the loss to Talon, which happened bc Primmie carried and not bc Talon were tactically superior, I’d still say this team is doing good except for quite a few things:
1) Jremy - As good as he is, he is not a Jett player. He is okay at it but not at the level of what his Raze is.
There are a couple of players who in Philippine Tier 2 that I find to be cracked i.e. PatrickWatson that are really good on both Jett and Raze that TS really need to keep tabs on. Other players include Zeus and tomix although I haven’t watched their actual games yet.
2) JessieVash - People like to clown on uncle for being in the team only because of his relationship with TS manager (which I haven’t actually confirmed if true, pls enlighten me), but he is not the main problem of this team. Uncle carries at times, which might show a picture on how the rest of the team is underperforming. Although he does like to ego peak people without his team like wtf.
3) 2ge - He is good but PapiChulo. Not much to say. I know he is an IGL but he can still slot in with this team with Uncle calling.
Latest tweet from TS with caption "we're rich in scrim pesos" together with the fact that a one pesos coin has Jose Rizal's image on it (which is also Giansanity's current in-game name)

DubsteP actually revealed on an interview with Upcomer that CR isn't a good team stating "We can take them anytime" based on their scrims soooo?
