New Ping System

I want to see the percentage of vlr users that like the new system or would like to revert it.

Pros and Cons of New Ping system:
Pros:
-Higher Skill ceiling
-Nerfs off site post plants a little (Not fully fixing it)

Cons:
-Worse and more annoying to communicate with teammates
especially in mixed language regions.
-Sound of new ping is ass.

suggestions to pros and cons are appreciated.

The changes of sound and not letting pings go through smokes are unecessary af. I feel like removing the map ping from showing in-game was enough to nerf them, since teammates being able to ping site while being dead was the "OP" part imo. Punishing the players that are alive by making pings not go through smokes is just obnoxious

Having to look at minimap more so it is easier to be caught off guard?

i love it because shitters can't just hide for half the duration of the post plant and just spam after, now they actually have to fight for shit

It was a long overdue nerf. The ping still shows on the mini map.

You can’t be serious

you can get 3rd pings before barrier drop with the purple eyeball ping not sure if ur teammates can see it but for comming smokes the player on smokes can see the visual on map

I understand why riot “nerfed” ping. it's so there wouldn't be as many post plants. in my opinion, instead of nerfing ping, it should just let the living players ping. the dead can't do anything.

Nah because then how am I supposed to communicate with people wile I'm dead and don't have a mic or don't think talking is appropriate

players still can ping, but only visible on the mini map. I think that's enough no? maybe it takes sometime to getting used.

Yeah I do think that's enough I thought you we saying dead people shouldnt be able to ping at all also this patch shows how little people look at the minimap
