eg but worse

I think hes making a comment on their leadership personalities rather than their skills. Johnqt is an amazing igl but I don't think his personality is the same as the igls he mentioned. Thats mainly the reason why Zellsis is so important to the team.

Yes same format

The rules say they would replay the round only if the bug is either game breaking or if there was damage done in that round. The bug was definitely not game breaking and it happened way into a round where damage was taken. So they should not replay the round.

posted 3 weeks ago

They should not it’s too late

It’s probably the perma breach. It’s harder to aim when your thinking about how to use your utility to perfectly pair with tejo or support your players.

Im pretty sure he left because of health, might be wrong though

All after that sayf comms

posted 1 month ago

Yea, I don't think they should change the comps thats working, but on maps they are banning like fracture and split they can test it out. At least try to experiment during stage play when their playoff spot is already secured.

posted 1 month ago

I feel like Leaf struggles on solo duelist. Hes like a Cryo, Yay, Demon1 Type player where they can frag heavy after the space was made for them by someone else.

posted 1 month ago

The meta on split is shifting that way from what i see. They could try it on the maps they aren't good on.

posted 1 month ago

Is it possible for G2 to run double duellist comps? The only way I can see it happening is Jawg First Entry Duelist , Leaf second entry Duelist, JonahP Senti / Second initi, Trennt Primary Initi and Valyn Smokes. Pretty doable imo.

posted 1 month ago

you cant compare the Apeks and FNC game comp wise. They both had the same comp.

idk but i would not use the same world with different mods at different times. Just stick to one mod(s)/modpack with a world.

We are starting to see VCT become less diverse as time goes on. Regions like SEA and Latin America are becoming less prevalent in the international stage. The ones that are qualifying are the ones that host the leagues like Korea and NA. I feel like I really loved vct because of its diversity and I am really sad to see it fade.

This may be due to this being the start of the year, but I feel like riot needs to host the leagues in multiple cities so t2 in these places can get better practice and the t1 teams have better practice during the offseason.

There was an open tournament like a few weeks ago. It was ok… not good though. They just look so slow and it’s not as satisfying as pc.

Champs 2023, NRG loose to BiliBili. FNS with his expectations of himself and his team destroyed feels like he as an individual cannot keep up with everyone else so he retires.

He starts streaming and notices how many fans want to see him compete, he starts to costream and looks at the team’s strategies and feels “Man I can do good if I competed.” So he joins NRG when they offer him, what’s there to loose?

He improves NRG and he builds his confidence so he continues for another year, just one more year. They perform in the off season and he can see the path to greatness. Going into kickoff his confidence is high, everyone is putting them as the best team in americas. Then in the back of his mind he remembers why he retired in the e first place. The pressure is on to meet everyone’s expectations, and the rest is history.

Whoever made this trailer needs a raise. The emotion it conveys and how it does it is perfection.

Starting at 3:10 we get Bren's quote that sets up the scene creating that makes you feel the pressure the game has and how the players despite that pressure, despite their own anxiety and fear, must face forward.

Then at 3:20, we make KangKang the main character (Amazing choice). His quote "There is no time to be scared now" perfectly shows his vulnerability and determination to overcome it.

The choice of Die for You is perfect as the lyrics complement everything so much: "Now there's only one thing I can do, fighting to the end like I promised to". It makes you feel like KangKang is the embodiment of these words and it's almost as if he is speaking them to his fans. Ending this bit off after seeing his failures flash we see KangKang face forward with determination on his face and says "I must be brave", perfect.

And the cherry on top, KangKang delivers.

I’m not sure is Riot doesn’t allow third party tournaments to be hosted during VCT, but now that we have longer periods of time between tournaments in VCT there is room for third party organizers to run tournaments that feature vct teams that didn’t qualify for internationals and other tier 2 teams. Riot needs to allow this to happen as this imo this is genuinely a really good fix while keeping VCT the premier competition. Fans get to see more of their favourite teams play and have more support for the tier 2 scene and pro players can test ideas on stage before running them in real play.Thoughts?

yea alot of esports viewers dont play the game much either

In the sense that Reyna is good in ranked not pro play and Tejo is good in pro play and not in ranked. Thoughts?
Edit: maybe anti is not a good word for this…

posted 4 months ago

This is just speculation but I believe Valorant wasn't built with those things in mind. If you go back to release, you see them prioritize their anti-cheat and fast servers which we are seeing the repercussions of it now. To optimize the servers to be as fast as possible they cut corners which in turn made making the replay client much harder. For Custom servers and mods, I think
vanguard prevents them from opening things up.

posted 4 months ago

Yeah, I lowkey can't argue that, but they were 2 players down in that situation so that risk was 100% the best thing to go for. I was thinking more of moments where it's not the "smartest" play.

1) https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxzsZmeRuby5lhOUT8hDU-wj_ueTJvrC6Q?si=G3YF9H_zQHtx9flO
This is just speculation but I feel like Icy, in this situation, after getting the first would hold and wait for his team to take contact before swinging again.

2) https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxCIyJMi3uHCf7cUo2wHOT7qJNTOyyKA4s?si=H1STieLSYZ6n-4oG
This might have been a set strat, but they are man-up, anti eco, and he swings into their spawn. They are also up a lot so it's not the best clip, but I don't see Icy doing many of these types of plays.

posted 4 months ago

The thing with Icy is that he will do the right thing and exactly what the team wants him to do no matter the situation. Comparing him to duelists like Jawg or Oxy, they know when to use their instinct to take risks and their skill is good enough to capitalize on those risks which Icy doesn't have in his play.

posted 4 months ago

in pro, he'll be good and ranked he's okay. Fairly balanced imo.
