In the sense that Reyna is good in ranked not pro play and Tejo is good in pro play and not in ranked. Thoughts?
Edit: maybe anti is not a good word for this…

This is just speculation but I believe Valorant wasn't built with those things in mind. If you go back to release, you see them prioritize their anti-cheat and fast servers which we are seeing the repercussions of it now. To optimize the servers to be as fast as possible they cut corners which in turn made making the replay client much harder. For Custom servers and mods, I think
vanguard prevents them from opening things up.

Yeah, I lowkey can't argue that, but they were 2 players down in that situation so that risk was 100% the best thing to go for. I was thinking more of moments where it's not the "smartest" play.

1) https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxzsZmeRuby5lhOUT8hDU-wj_ueTJvrC6Q?si=G3YF9H_zQHtx9flO
This is just speculation but I feel like Icy, in this situation, after getting the first would hold and wait for his team to take contact before swinging again.

2) https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxCIyJMi3uHCf7cUo2wHOT7qJNTOyyKA4s?si=H1STieLSYZ6n-4oG
This might have been a set strat, but they are man-up, anti eco, and he swings into their spawn. They are also up a lot so it's not the best clip, but I don't see Icy doing many of these types of plays.

posted 1 week ago

The thing with Icy is that he will do the right thing and exactly what the team wants him to do no matter the situation. Comparing him to duelists like Jawg or Oxy, they know when to use their instinct to take risks and their skill is good enough to capitalize on those risks which Icy doesn't have in his play.

in pro, he'll be good and ranked he's okay. Fairly balanced imo.

Not entirely sure i think they might not have one this year, but Sideshow, TMV and probably Sliggy are costreaming so watch them if u want some english.

Yes, if u are technically the best player but never do anything with that skill you’re just a choker or just extremely unlucky. Players like Aspas, Derke and other of that calibre are BOTH super skilled and won stuff. You need both to be the best in the world.

I want to see the percentage of vlr users that like the new system or would like to revert it.

Pros and Cons of New Ping system:
Pros:
-Higher Skill ceiling
-Nerfs off site post plants a little (Not fully fixing it)

Cons:
-Worse and more annoying to communicate with teammates
especially in mixed language regions.
-Sound of new ping is ass.

suggestions to pros and cons are appreciated.

The formats for every Masters/Champs are great. The main issue people have is the 8 team masters 1 but I think it's fine for 1 reason:
The first time I did weed, the high was great but as I did weed more often it was getting worse each time. I needed to take more to feel the same thing. When I stopped for a year and came back it peaked better than the first time.
So what I'm trying to say is that masters getting better as the year goes on will make each Masters and, ultimately, Champs feel even better. Thank you for reading my TedTalk. I will not be taking any questions, so I would advise you not to reply to this post.

How are there only 5 Canadians in Americas T.T

posted 1 month ago
  1. Yes and no. Kick-off and in turn masters 1 is supposed to be "random" by design of the format. It allows for more cinderella runs which some may find fun some may not.
  2. No
  3. what does this even look like?

Not the same level sure but still morally wrong.

Mr beast, Logan Paul, Jake Paul, KSI, Speed ( just weird not really morally questionable) , Elon Musk, Facebook guy (forgot his name), Amazon guy the whole Epstein's list thing, and that’s just people that are famous.

posted 2 months ago

Ok maybe not all but I feel like the richer you are the higher chance you do questionable things.

posted 2 months ago

Why are the most famous and rich people always so weird. Even the ones I thought were fine turn out to be assholes or weird. Is the the fame and riches that turned them? Or to get that rich you have to be weird. Or is the world’s population more weird than I believe to be?

There are some small things that 2023 teams don't do that would let 2024 teams destroy them. I'm mainly talking about how when players apply solo pressure in certain areas, like showers or something. They usually don't keep the space for too long or not at all. Top 2024 teams would insta reclear that making that pressure obsolete. And such the inverse is true where 2023 teams would take longer to reclear some areas. It is also a factor of the different meta, mainly how broken Skye was back then (refresh flash).

posted 2 months ago

Bro the round b4 (round 5) NAVI loses that anti-eco because Cned stuns Zyppan which then gets him killed. The showers crunch was really good, but that one fuckup from Cned cost them that round.

posted 2 months ago

Yea great gameplay. Saadhaak is just that good of an igl. They would have won that round if Saadhaak applied real pressure showers, it would have caught ange1 for playing that risky, but that's just a wrong read so nothing that big. The read from NAVI about not holding showers too hard was really good.

Watch this video if u want, it's good.

I had a question about the last stat showed about the deadliest players. I feel like that stat is unfairly biased towards players who play safely and more for themselves. Players like miniboo, and duelists in general, who rush onto sites take many fights that are 50/50 based on guns but not 50/50 based on util. I know that it's a hard thing to factor in, maybe impossible, but it's still significant. Let me know if any of my logic is incorrect.

I understand what you are trying to say, but the problem is that being Trans isn't an advantage. there has been no evidence in GC. We have had many games where a team without a trans person won. FlyQuest went out in 2 so why aren't we saying it's unfair to put trans people up against biological women? Read #15!! \/\/\/

posted 2 months ago

So you're saying we should segregate them. Ah, yes let's segregate the whites and blacks in our communities, surely that's the right thing to do. Ok, I'm being a little passive-aggressive with that lol. The issue is Flor would 100% join a T2 team if she felt like she had the best chances of success in T2, but she doesn't. Like I said, players don't want to play with her because she is trans and it shouldn't be like that. GC helps break that wall down.

posted 2 months ago

Because they are marginalized??? Like that’s the literal definition of being marginalized. Flor is trans so why would she change herself for society. You are saying she should not feel the way she feels because you and other people said so??? That’s literally means being marginalized. Many players don’t want to play with her because she is “Different”. And what #15 said below.

posted 2 months ago

Why is it any different? There is no actual science-based evidence that biological males have an advantage in esports (Physically sure). The reason there are more trans in NA GC can be attributed to the fact that trans people can exist online more easily than in the real world. Online communities have more Trans representation than irl communities.

No, on the contrary, I hate the fact he doesn't try I just want to see him play like how he did on old LOUD. Im sure he'll try on MIBR because he's on a team that he wants to play with, unlike LEV.

posted 2 months ago

Is he trying? Like I'm sure he is, but when he plays, it just feels like there is no passion behind it. It feels like he was playing at 50% of his potential and he's still dropping these numbers.
