How to become VCT analyst?

Title. I have a great brain for the game and really feel like my input/analysis and experience could be helpful anywhere. It is my dream to do this. How/where do I start?

some analysts have gotten their start that way

some teams do applications when a spot opens up
otherwise I'd try maybe to start with a premier team / other tier 3-4 talent since you'll likely only get hired if you have experience

also as others have mentioned its very important to document and advertise your achievements, you have to market yourself

Well, I think that you're pretty much gonna have to start out somewhere in Tier 3. If your coaching proves to be effective, then you can apply for tier 2 teams. If you're good there, then you can work your way up to tier 1.

TLDR; you need to work your way up.

I think u need to start by analyzing VCT

Join premier teams or t3 teams and gain experiences
Then when you have achievements post a LFT post on twitter for small orgs in tier 2
And pray to be signed by any challengers/ascension teams

creating a brand and networking is the way you will get the opportunity to do this. Practicing your craft until you have done that will prepare you for those opportunities. Becoming efficient in social media is what leads to what you desire

Build up a portfolio of your analyses. Videos, essays, blogs, etc. Make sure your portfolio is easily accessible so that if you apply to an org or team, they can see your work and get a sense of your skills. And whilst you apply and interview, it is fair to brag about your achievements and/or examples of analyses. However, do keep in mind that outside of interviews, you should be on the humble side and let the analyses reflect how great your brain and input of the game is.
