Masters winners and regionals winners get the same points. This is a joke

it's a good motivation but still masters and regionals do not hold the same value

It's not like the teams are competing internationally with championship points, they just need the most in their region.

difference is 1 team wins each masters
4 teams win regionals, and as #4 points out teams are competing regionally with points

I think you and OP are looking at it the wrong way, you don't win masters primarily for the points.
the main reward for masters is the actual trophy itself, the points are a bonus

isn't it a facilitator for the rest of the teams? Shouldn't matter to the winners
