I am fucking PRAYING that Team Spirit or Virtus.pro enter Valorant and we finally get to foster some Russian talent again because it feels like since 2022 the region hasn't been producing talent at the same rate

CIS(Europe) has produced some amazing talent, but bit overrated. Like what teams they produced outside of Gambit? Old NAVI was ok, but rest were pretty mid or bad. Outside of Gambit they have produced players like Cloud, Suygetsu and Derke. But overall its not like super dominant compared to rest of Europe.

There's so much CIS talent in tier 2, and they're usually in the top teams

it's actually lowkey really good for sub-regions, since it's allowing them to develop.
But I think if they get the opportunity to have their own region they'll easily create a team ripe for winning ascension

riots biggest fumble has been how they've dealt with CIS tbh, so much potential

Sure they have good talent in tier 2, but again I don't think CIS as region would be that dominant. They would have good tier 2 teams, but not like they would take Turkey's spot as the best sub region, and even Turkish teams don't always win.
