would you watch a video on the entire history of a vct team in the style of a jon bois/bobby broccoli video essay? if so recommend a team (was gonna do fnatic but open to whatever) and maybe some potential wants in the vid because i am completely directionless

honestly I am somewhat confident in my abilities to make a video up to at least the quality of the falcons chart party (probably not voice-over but animation wise) but it will take a long ass time

I want to see a video on the history of esports as a whole. Like the very first esports tournament to present day

Write a script, get clips and put it together. So easy tbh (ive never done it before)

getting clips seems like a super annoying process
like downloading a 7 hour long VOD through some shady youtube download site for just a 20 second clip (it took me hours to do this)
there's probably a way more efficient way but I have no clue what it is

script fair enough
how tf do you record audio in a vacuum with no video, like do you just record your screen and delete the footage and leave the audio?
also doing fancy animations and blurs and stuff seems like it takes time to learn

You don't have to get the clips individually, you could download entire games, and not every clip has to be an important moment. You can also throw in relevant images like when you mention champions 2022, you could show images of the location and stuff like that to break up the clips.
There's some sites where you can download a specific part of the video I'm pretty sure, wouldn't know any off the top of my head.

The transitions are really simple (also kind of fun to learn), and if it comes to it. I think you can use one's someone else made and uploaded to use.

follow up but should I make a smaller vid first before diving in to it (if so it would probably be a vid on a super hype game that team played, for example if i did fnatic it would be them v m3c)
