Mortadelo [#3]Petra stepping up when it matters you can tell the experience
Petra mechanics at 31 years old are very rare in valorant

Vania too
She is expected to do this and she had a very shaky last game so
Glad to see my goat is back

She might be the GC goat tbh
What she did last year was impressive as fuck as well (IGL + Swapped to duelist and absolutely 1v9'd at times to get top 3)

Yeah honestly rezq is the only one I'm worried about. She has always been the player I've been most skeptical about and it would make sense that she would struggle the most

Didn't they switched to mimi IGL when that happened?

I think when the average level of competition is lower it's easier to maintain.
Also I'm not completely sure age is why not many pro players play after 30. I don't buy it, I think it's due other reasons
NebularCarina [#12]wasn't Mimi always the IGL tho?
I'm not gonna lie I'm not confident but I do believe it was Petra for a while, but I could be wrong

she looks absolutely gorgeous being 30+ year old

The older you get less time you have to give to a game like Valorant when you have family responsibilities and all. Practising 9 hrs a day for an unstable career field isn't possible or worth it for most people once they hit 27-28.
The only ones who actually play well and survive past that age are guys who have a high paying stable org and big reputation for themselves or someone who doesn't really have any other life skill and valorant helps them earn money in short term

age is a main reason your muscles get less flexible the older you get and that affects aim

Exactly, also the passion, drive for the game and the dedication needed is hard to maintain once you hit a certain age
30 is usually the absolute prime of an athlete in most sports, even in the ones that require high reaction times like F1 for example

Why doesn't it affect athletes in other sports that also require that type of precision
NebularCarina [#12]wasn't Mimi always the IGL tho?
I believe they switched to mimi for Champs 23' and shes been the IGL since
G2thelion [#19]I believe they switched to mimi for Champs 23' and shes been the IGL since
idk, i remember Mimi being the IGL even in 2022, but i could be wrong about that

They’re training intensely almost every day to expresssly prevent things like this. Most esports pros rarely ever see the gym. Would be my guess

Not at 30 tho. That’s like the absolute prime in most sports
