compared to last year he looked a lot better playing sentinel, stats cant deny that. never said he is sens problem but I don't understand why he would switch from a role where he was much better on

i mean they definitely tested it in scrims and found role switching works better. my guess is that because they dont have someone like sacy anymore, johnqt probably wants to be with the pack more and give more freedom to narrate to take his own timings.

its not just util because narrate is definitely a good init player that understands util timings, so i think its mostly midrounding: calling cancels or hits/splits, etc.

sacy -> johnqt initiator is basically a sidegrade
johnqt -> n4rrate sentinel is a MASSIVE upgrade

mainly its to improve IGLing seeing that you are in the fighting with your team making calls easier

when you play sentinel you kind of have to lurk making the IGLing a bit harder cause you aren't actually there

John wants to be on ini so he can make decisions more reactively, unlike before when sacy could handle it. His personal stats are going to be worse because initiators are a lot more selfless than sentinels, and get less opportunities for 1v1 and use their util to set up teammates more so than themselves.
