Why do you support your team?

I wanna know why you guys support the Valorant team you do! If you have a second fav, feel free to mention them too.

I won’t be judging, I merely want to learn about y’all, so I hope you can do the same.

I’ll start: I support EG because a couple weeks before Champs 2023 started, I wanted to support a Valorant team to stay interested in the game. I was only looking at NA teams because I live in Canada, and when I saw EG having the only roster containing a woman, I was impressed, and divided to follow them.

A second favourite would probably be Sentinels, only because I live on the same island as Tenz.

i support any asian team in international tournaments because they're asian and i am asian too
i support any mongolian team in regional tournaments because they're mongolian and i am mongolian too!

navi cuz they are the most based and successful org from my country:
-donated millions to Foster Homes/hospitals/volunteers/military
-Have the most understandable policy on how to deal with russians in esports
-their CS roster approach and the playstyle is how I like CS (I am a cs Frog, and I would say I am quite decent in CS)
-watching navi kinda helped me when the entire war started so I appreciate them
-s1mple is my favourite esports athelete of all time

DRG because the dragon is awesome and cute, the colours are awesome and I like the players

I was loosely following the scene when the game first came out and SUMN FC caught my eye as the only F/A to make it through playoffs. They were mostly British too. I've just been supporting them since. Until Masters 2 Reykjavik I didn't really have a favourite between FNC and TL but ever since then I've supported FNC more

My second favourite was(is?) Liquid, pretty much for the same reasons, but I was more a fan of the roster (Scream, Kryptix, ec1s, soulcas and l1nk). Probably because they had some of the best content at the time

My flair changes pretty often but I tend to support most teams from LATAM-N because I'm Colombian and this region has pitiful representation in tier 1.

In tier 1 I like SEN because I like a lot of their players from even before they joined SEN (especially zekken. I was a huge zekken fan back in his XSET days)

Honorable mentions are KOI (just because I want to see them succeed for once), and DRX (MaKo deserves an international trophy before he retires please)

4. MIBR-I like frod and want to see him succeed after he was cut by Less
5. KRU-Keznit seems like a really nice and wholesome guy whos prob one of the best duelists itw since the game came out but is still underrated
