I think it’s interesting how all these teams look. Famously this failed for NRG this year with Ethan on igl

Yeah, but EMEA needs it though, they don't have many good igls.

i completely agree but they need a reputable coach to make the concept of a new igl work. or maybe someone like saadhak or flyuh to teach something

I think there’s a big difference with Ethan tho. NRG did it so they could fit all of their super roster, while TL GX and Apeks have already seen those 3 players IGL last year.

Most of those teams could have signed an IGL but instead have decided to go for random tier 2 prospects. Which signals they’re confident in their choice. It can still go wrong but feels like a more well thought choice rather than just trying to fit superstars together
