idk how I feel about the new type of armour
I think having things like the Reyna/Clove extra health alongside this is a bit inefficient, better to j have one system imo
What I'd like to see is to maybe just remove the purple health thing and just replace it with this

I fully thought the new shield was just a UI change for the overheal text, but I have no idea how Phoenix fits into this since he never had an overheal mechanic. Unless the new Phoenix changes allow him to overheal now?

I hope it's the last thing you mentioned, overheal looks ugly too from a UI standpoint and this would be the perfect way to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Phoenix being able to overheal would also be a nice buff

honestly rewatching the video, it might be the case. reyna overheal would probably function the same way too -- rather than purple health it just becomes temporary shield health. it makes more sense since shields don't actually reduce the damage you take like CS armor/helmet and instead serves more like extra health
