What are your 1-12 APAC TEAMS ranking after today's matches
Early thoughts?
cloudberry [#14]This is how I personally see things going (I'm splitting this up into three groups, each group's teams are very close in my eyes)
- ZETA
- SPG
- GEN
- DFM
- T1
//- RRQ
- PRX
- TLN
- GE
//- DRX
- BME
- TS
im confused
other than my obvious discontent for drx at 10, there's some ridiculous takes here, with the most surprising being:
zeta at 1?
spg at 2?
dfm at 4?
prx at 7?
this just seems like a mishmash list birthed by recency bias and roster fluctuations

1-5 are interchangeable imo. I put ZETA first because SPG can probably get counterstratted more easily because of their comps, GEN because they've lost some irreplacable players, DFM because ZETA's a bit better imo, and T1 because they play like they're 1st-2nd on a good day (like against RRQ at RBHG) and 9-10th on a bad day (like against ZETA at RBHG), but any order would be fine by me
As for PRX, I don't see them performing as high as they used to. They used to be able to simply outaim and run down everyone, but that's not the case anymore. We already kinda saw that last year, with them finishing 3rd compared to 1st the previous year, plus underperforming heavily at internationals

thanks for explaining.
its still offseason and anything could happen in vct 2025, so in no way do I think this scenario could NEVER happen
however, I do think that t1 wasn't playing at their maximum potential (moreso than zeta) while zeta already had good synergy and capitalized off of t1's mistakes (in other words, zeta played good, but the results were a byproduct of t1 playing horribly)
personally, I love syouta and the way he maneuvers around site, but is the FL + ZETA core strong enough to defeat 23/24 titans like GEN, DRX, and PRX? I disagree. and I think people are underrating PRX now because of recency bias and the fact that the squad is still mechanically gifted, just a bit behind on meta.
also, I see autumn trolling this and trolling that in VLR, and while I do agree, I definitely see a lot of room for improvement for t1.
My list would be:

My list would be:
- GEN (you still have munchkin texture karon as a base to work off of which is nuts)
- T1 (if they lock tf in t1 might be the next GENG)
- PRX (bit high, but I think they still got it in them)
- DRX (volatile, would rate higher or lower drastically depending on how their structure looks in their upcoming tournament)
- ZETA (huge improvement, will likely stay in this spot for the prospective future)
- SPG (I put them lower than others because I've noticed that they've been garnering crazy hype/overrated)
- DFM (not sure how I feel about them, but they look interchangeable with current TLN)
- TLN (talon needs to go under a huge shift in playstyle IMO, they can perform with better strats and mentality)
- RRQ (Idfk whats going on with this team. this might be too low of a ranking, but its too early to tell. if jemkin bounces back, and kush keeps this performance, they're around placement 5-6)
- BME (solid team, just can't see them beat any of the teams above but they seem consistent. hot take, I feel like they hit their ceiling, but id have to watch them more to affirm what I'm seeing)
- TS (dude...)
- GE (dude...)
This is a fair ranking, I think, but GE look a lot better than TS do right now (at least on paper, but that's all we really have to go off of)
i see a lot of guys here putting TS last. as a half filipino i can only say—
if TS mental doesnt improve by next year then we will still be seeing a 1st round playoff choke or even less from them. what i mean by mental is that, although they have proven time and time again that they are capable of going toe to toe against high caliber teams, they fumble in important moments. and too many to count too. but idk. im not a part of the org and im not really a huge fan but its either the mentals or the team's cohesiveness as a whole like coaching, player ego or the ultimate nepo org problem at work here. maybe were overpraising vash igling??????? tho personally im not buying the nepo claims

i like watching them play tho, invy is sick, wildeoreoo is sick, jeremy is ehhh up and down and the ts twitter acc is funny haha

i see, i'm just uneasy about newly formed GE rosters because of what happened in 23/24
Alzi [#26]lmfao why are people not putting SPG and boom next to each other? both ascencion teams are gonna be bottom tier
boom dropped a player who was their best player pre ascension
Dreoxx [#27]i see, i'm just uneasy about newly formed GE rosters because of what happened in 23/24
Makes sense
ProfessionalLurker [#22]People here overestimating spg completely forgot that they almost lost to boom
And ur forgetting they could have 3-0ed boom that day if they didn't choke their lead and smashed them 2-0 days prior
Not to mention they've alr shit on drx prx th fnc etc
I'll take consistency

- DRX
- PRX
- ZETA
- TLN
- SPG
- T1
- GENG(if they sign foxy9 and beyn)
- DFM
- TS
- GE
how tf is t1 so low on this list even though they won
merciless-pity8989-89 [#28]boom dropped a player who was their best player pre ascension
correlation? SPG still aren't going to be more competitive than half the league
