Maybe I will once I finish university but that won't be for a while and it's easier to commute from home than to rent another place to live here. Also travel from outside the city costs a lot more so it doesn't make sense. And there I go oversharing again 🥲

The leak isn't bad it happens on the balcony and only after super heavy rain because the drainage system is blocked. It affects the neighbours who live below me a lot more though so I'm grateful that it's not as bad as it is for them

That simply is not possible for a lot of people here, there is a housing crisis where houses are severely overpriced here, and people have to think about their jobs and their lives. Unlike in the US and other countries, there is not a heavy emphasis on driving here because the transport network is well established and cheaper. So moving out involves a huge change in lifestyle that some people may not be prepared for, perhaps because they don't own a car or have a license, or their job is not available outside the city. To find reasonable housing, you need savings and you need to get far enough away from London for house prices to drop, and be ready to find new jobs and all of the other stuff that comes with moving, and there are so mamy reasona why they might not be able to move. That isn't an option for some people. Why am I saying so much? It wasn't even a serious question from you 😭
