I think I'm going to go crazy from all of rumors. Surely we can't be letting go of 3 players. Someone please feed into my delusion and tell me that the leaks about BuZz, Foxy9, and BeYN aren't true...

If the roster isn't working, might as well nuke it and rebuild.

I thought we were cooking though. This roster could go all the way man.

They literally got to champs by having as a top seed on groups.
You need to let it go man. foxy9 isn’t ready for tier 1 and BeyN was forced to play initiator even though his controller is goated.

One game off of the first two international events and we definitely would have made it if we didn't have a bunch of mid-year roster problems. Once we stabilized we comfortably made Champions Seoul and showed good potential.

You expect great teams to spawn out of nowhere? This iteration of the DRX squad had almost no time together and was able to comfortably make Champions Seoul.

drop old roster to build rookie talent --> rookies start to look super good but need a little more development --> blow up roster ??????

Its not confirmed Buzz said that he has not gotten a verbal agreement with any team. I think that BeyN should stay im not sure about Foxy9 but i will say that his flex has gotten so much better and if Buzz goes to T1 it will be sad as he was very good at the end of the season (exept champs playoff) but if Hyunmin is the replacement you should not be sad or mad because he is good (trust me he is good)

That's what I'm saying. Why does everyone fail to understand that this roster just needs more time together...

I know HYUNMIN is amazing. However, I'm more concerned with the possibility that the entire roster gets dismantled and we have to start again from scratch.

I get that but i feel like the higher ups on DRX have to say to them self do we want to be the 6-5th team who switches up players every year or de we wanna go top 3, When the year ended and DRX got 6-5th in champs i was not worried cuz new roster so i thought that we are gonna stick to this roster and next year is our year and now there are rumors 3 players are leaving lol. I am a termi belivier but i feel like if he dosent get a top 3 on LAN or win a split in pacific he has to go.

I just don't understand. We gave our old roster 2 full years together. 6 international events in a row for just 2 Top 3 finishes. Now we have a new, young roster that has had just a singular event together and got Top 5 - 6. Should we not give them more time?

nah, look at how they played in that tournament, not nearly good enough, if it wasn’t for MaKo and Flashback and BuZz in group stage, We wouldn’t have done nearly as well, so what the point in having blind hope in an experiment that clearly didn’t work out

dw freeing is the most highly valued korean free agent in tier 2 rn, and ive heard very good things about hyunmin. and mako and flashback are still on the team at least, so it should be ok.

i agree. foxy9 and beyn had been on DRX/DRX prospects for a long time and they had time to familiarise themselves with the team and the playstyle. they still did worse than flashback. it is quite disappointing because DRX had a lot of potential but the players just didnt step up when needed, only mako and flashback were really doing much after groups. thats not fair, to give players who didnt perform another chance when they were already affiliated or associated with the team for so long, especially when there are other options on the market, and when another korean team that made changes became the best in the world almost instantly. the GENG success story only taught DRX that sometimes, the best teams are not the ones that are given time, but the ones that also have strong players. and SPG winning ascension also showed DRX that there are some fantastic players lurking in korea challengers who deserve the chance and will live up to the hype.

even thought i dont like t0rmid.. im all for it with getting new players because i was never impressed with foxy9 in all his time in drx sorry but drx needs to aspire to much more than making champions they old legacy roster did much better
