NAVI serious talk

Now that the lineup is basically confirmed, I can draw up the conclusion that management doesn't have any will for success in Valorant. Starting from benching doombros mid-season which led to the death of one of the longest standing and best cores in Valorant history, to then doing trials without a COACH, basically agreeing a deal with 2 players and after signing the coach tell them 'sorry lads, unlucky for screwing you up'? We look like a bunch of clowns out there. Loot at how successful their CS roster is. They know how to run a championship winning team, why don't they do the same in Valorant? Don't even get me started on the way Happy brought koalanoob with him, while he's really flexible, he can only play Jett, Yoru and to some degree Omen. Nothing against him, but this is the type of profile that we needed the least and on top of that we sign another smokes player. Like what are the roles even gonna be next year? How do you spend all your budget on ONE singular player who is obviously talented but not that proven in Tier 1? So much amazing talent was available and we end up with this roster. I pray somehow it works out but this is a pure mess.

100% true. Keeping ange1 was a mistake. Fpx core made their name bc they had 4 of the best shooters and an igl who understood ad abused the chamber meta. Once the card didn’t line up, ange1 folded and crumbled. Fixing the team for ‘25 was as simple as getting rid of ange1, and getting a proper coach and igl. This new team seems like a collection of scrap players. I’d be surprised if they make playoffs

I think ange1 just needs a fresh start and it makes no sense how they went through it I didn't think a t1 team would try to form a roster without a coach but here we are 💀

Benching doombros and the team went down that bad just tell you ang1 don't got that IGL skill in him he can't either shoot he should be out the team if they want to win some

I think it was necessary for navi plyrs to seperate.
None of their plyrs were able to keep their 2022 form consistently.
Also playing in one team under same igl for longer time does annoy plyrs.
Changes were necessary but this tryout issue where navu fcked up is affecting koalanoob as well.
People are hating him for no reason
They want him to reject offer from navi??

yes of course Jivko, you are in the scrims and you can now say with certainty that this team is really bad. Of course because a team doesnt have the players you wanted, its obviously shit, and shows that "management doesn't have any will for success in Valorant". Of course every good team on paper turned out to be great and every team without big names ended up garbage. Oh i even remember how everyone was so high on GenG at the beginning of the year and how everyone really knew that EG 2023 was gonna win champs at the beginning of the year, of course...

Like before dooming like the world is ending, how about trying to see how it COULD work

I'm shitting on the org for doing dumb moves in Valorant when there is example of them being competent enough to run Championship winning roster but I guess reading is hard

Believe it or not, there weren't better options for the IGL role but if this project goes to shit as well surely Ange1 retires at the end of the year

But how do you know that THIS is not NAVI being competent and creating a championship winning roster. As i said, you are dooming because YOU think that NAVI trolled the off season, even though this roster might be very good. YOU have no idea

Bro can you actually read what I wrote? THEY WERE DOING 3 WEEKS OF TRIALS WITHOUT A COACH. They agreed deals with 2 players who are completely fucked up now and rushed into signing 2 different players in matter of hours

Look idk why are you worrying that much, happy has taken the roster lead and will be responsible if koala failes.
Trust him
All of these changes are on him.
However I do find navi roster a bit weird cause of roles.
What would ange1 play, cause ruxic will be smokes

time will tell but I don't want repeat of last year. If NAVI dont make any international tournaments again, they have only themselves to blame

Listen its fucked for the players that got fucked over last minute. But, do you not think that if happy came in and they were winning every scrims and the team environment was amazing, that he would have cut those players? Happy is trying to win, he chose the players that he thought would help the team win.

Like are you assuming that Happy, with all the respect hes built up over the years, would come in to a team like NAVI and build a bad roster? Why, for fun?

NAVI wanted to sign Happy, they were doing trials for 3 weeks without a coach because they had to wait and see whether happy was going to be available or not. Once he was available, he came in and NAVI gave him some amount of power over the roster (idk how much) and he built the team he thought would be best suited to win

I guess thats fair enough. I just hate seeing this negative narrative going on about koalanoob. As a m80 fan for the past 2 years, i know how good he is, and it really annoys me seeing people act like he somehow makes NAVI a bad team

like he is literally the goat
list of his feats:
-Got boombl4 and swapped edward
-opened the academy (which gave way to players like m0nesy, b1t, headtrick)
-got perfecto
-promoted b1t instead of flamie
-made electronic look like a half decent IGL
-set up the switch to international rosters
-made jl look like a clutch meister, aleksi like a top 1 IGL, w0nderful as 2nd coming of device, iM into a consistent player and b1t into a kill machine
