if they dont allow derke to go to VIT and keep him in contract jail then I don't think there is a single sane FNC fan that wouldn't call this some of the scummiest behaviour by an org to date and they'll lose 50-70% of their fans and only the fnatics(no pun intended) will stay back and eventually it will become SEN fanbase 2.0 but 10x times worse cause I can meet sane SEN fans every now and then but I wouldn't be able to meet a sane FNC fan after this

again this all applies only if VIT are paying enough for the buyout in the first place and FNC is not accepting offers from other teams which give offers lower than VIT

I have a feeling riot will get involved. Two Champs representing teams in a weeks long quarrel about a transfer where two parties can't seem to find a solution which can result in one of the best valorant players of all time missing a year of competition just screams "Announcement for VCT 2025 season"

nah, I highly doubt it. the entirety of EG was in a worse situation last year after winning the biggest tournament in the game's history and riot didn't do anything. maybe riot will update the rules in the future but for this particular case? they don't care. the impact of a single player on the company's decisions is very small no matter how big their achievement is (if anything, clout matters more here and derke isn't the most clouted player)

Bro shut the hell up they allowed him to go to every team he wants to go the alleged rumor that they didn't allow him to Vit only
It's a contract that he singed into its not a charity they paid him for it
If they was scumbags they wouldn't let him go anywhere like Eg

Legally speaking, Fnatic cant chose where he goes if the buyout is paid. If it isnt, they can pick which transaction is in their interest, including leaving him in "jail"

I've seen plenty of fgulag fans defending that pathetic behavior already

Cojo can say anything he wants, what makes him more believable?

G2 did this to us in League of Legends and no fucks were given after a couple of weeks (player went to NA and won his first split + got the bag + got out of groups at worlds which is a big achievement for NA)

so VIT must not have offered the buyout then

this is so braindead and way overstepping riots power by forcing a team to sell a player for an amount they dont want

the fact hes the GM of fnatic val and not some random person with no sources. like half the "leaks" in this sub have been disproven in less than a week.

If the rumours are true, vitality paid the buyout, fnatic don't want derke to go there. Money is not the issue, the destination is

the rumours arent true. fnatic doesnt give a ratass about where he goes as long as they get the money they want, they are not getting the money they want

Yes, if someone pay the buyout fnatic cant do anything about it, the only problem its that the buyout must be huge
