As fnc is refusing to sell derke to vit can, vit buy derke through another random X org?? Like vit will give the money to some X org and then they do the buyout after that vit can take him back??
uwukitten [#3]I recall hearing about an org having a clause that a player can't be sold to another particular team when they sell him, don't remember where I heard that tho
Is it possible to have a clause saying stuff like "prevent buyout from teams who participated at Champs of last calendar year?"

no lmfao, then derke wouldnt ever sign that contract and nobody would and even if they did I have a feeling that riot would get involved if that ever became the case because that goes against competitive integrity

But then having clauses against particular orgs is shady as well

there is no clause like that either. i think the case here is
I'm 99% sure no clause specifically denies derke from going to a particular team
alpine007 [#8]there is no clause like that either. i think the case here is
- VIT are not paying enough or the buyout and FNC are not selling fro less(understandable)
- VIT IS paying enough and FNC don't wanna sell to a good team(scummy asf)
I'm 99% sure no clause specifically denies derke from going to a particular team
What even is the point of the buyout if the org just goes "no lmao"
Nef0r0 [#2]Most simple solution (albeit I don't know if it's legal) is that they give money to Derke directly, or he pays his own buyout and then he becomes UFA
I am a lawyer in Europe with 12 years of experience and I can tell you what derke can do.
He can approach a family member to register an organisation according to the laws in their country as mark it as an Esports Team. The team will request for Derke and provide the payout. After the deal is done, Vitality can provide the same payout to the family organisation and acquire him.
Legally this is flawless and no money is gone out of pockets.

That is actually the only way release clauses work in football. But FNC is not stupid you can’t just trick them

Why would that be a family member
Nef0r0 [#9]What even is the point of the buyout if the org just goes "no lmao"
thats my point as well lmfao
plus all of this shit Is unconfirmed and no one really knows the truth other than derke and the orgs themselves so ig we just gotta wait

I didn't mean a clause in his original contract with the team, but when selling to a different team I'm pretty sure it's possible to make one of the conditions that they can't just immediately sell him to another team
Nef0r0 [#12]Why would that be a family member
because its the safest option? i dont think you got what i said
