If you ever hear fns speak about derke you would think otherwise. He practically thinks he is the best player in the world

If that was the case he would have gone to NRG way sooner

I’m like 90% sure Derke wanted VIT and FNC wanted NRG and that is why the deal couldn’t go through. Now NRG has given up and found another good option so FNC has lost all of their leverage

Nrg has more money than vitality

I’m not completely sure about that tbh. Vitality has a shit tone of money, it’s a different matter if they wanna spend it all on Derke but it ain’t NRG paying millions to perkz for example

vitality is rich i agree. But Nrg payroll is absolutely higher stll.

This was Derke choosing to stay for moderately less money because its his home continent and he gets a superteam.

And FNC the bastards can piss off now. Tryna sell him off like G2 did Perkz back in the day.

Yeah I mean I don’t want it to happen cause it’s Vitality but EMEA having a superteam like that of players I actually like too could be very exciting man

this gonna build some resentment toward FNC no ? like Derke will be in devil mode when playing against fnc ? (I like thinking that xd)

its irrelevant though. i know fns has derke in high regard but from what fns has been saying he doesn't want to take the risk of signing an emea player because its unknown how the player will be in new circumstances

then why were they negotiating with him for sooo long? They lost the race that is the reality. now they picked their alternative.

are they though? They had to lose a major winning coach and support player because they couldn't afford a pay rise in CS, not sure that they are rich rich

but vitality also had to resort to signing two free players ( or one with a low buy) to change anyone. And they might look into selling one of their players to buy a star, so they aren't in a huge plus.
Also, just curious, what's the average monthly salary in val?
I know that buyouts are insanely different, wtih cs setting 600k for someone like m0nesy even before his pro debut, and I have heard tier 2 players have like 80k and it is considered a lot

Eu players make around 5k per month with few exceptions of 10k per month in val. In NA its probably 2x that, from what i remember from sliggy's stream where he talked about it

They probably chose to, but if they really want they have money to sign anyone. Rn they’re paying a buyout for Derke for example that ain’t cheap

I’m pretty sure there is a league minimum of 10k I might be wrong though

It’s a league minimum of around 4k. It’s actually in yearly salary but I can’t remember the exact number
