Viewership does matter. But lets be honest here, how much viewership is dfm and ge bringing? Most of dfm watcher are taken by zeta anyway, while indians clown on GE and don't really watch vct(I don't remember seeing GE matches being more watched than other Pacific team unlike PRX and Zeta)

A vietnam or oce team will bring more viewership and a 4th kr team will make the league more competitive. Hell adding boom esport probably add more viewership to the league even though their watcher base also watch rrq

If you want to look for viewership in VCL SA go watch co streams (Binks, Tbone etc.)
Also look for English language rather than Hindi. In India people speak many many languages just looking at hindi wont give you accurate no of viewers.
There's a region despite being so shit we still keep getting more and more tournaments sponsors etc lol.

Singapore did not get in for the viewership, its because we are a competitive region. But even then Singapore's PRX is the most watched team in Apac with the most bundle sold. Even with no viewership and playing with a handicap (NS) we won last ascension.

Well, when Riot first organized APAC, the rumor was 5 Korean orgs (Gen, T1, DRX, DK, NS). NS exist as a Korean organization, but they were going to use a full Japanese roster. The remaining five slots were to consist of 1 JP and 4 SEA.Those plans were canceled.

Give one partener slot to OCE and probably VN, and if Korea is that strong they just pick the 4 remaining ascended spot (7 spot for KR is largely enough, even if it's 3 partenered + 4 Ascended)
