Yes, it wouldn't be surprising if RAGE was blacklisted by Japanese venue managers and local governments.
They've built up a lot of trust for the Japanese Valorant scene for years, and now it's all gone.
The only thing that Valorant in Japan had going for it was its popularity with fans, but it looks like that will be lost too...

However, it is also true that RAGE (the Japanese organizers) is not flexible enough to change the format, and Japan does not have enough esports venues and facilities to meet such demands.

The Japanese organizers are the worst for trying to do such a shitty format, Riot should never think of holding a tournament in the weakest country in APAC again.
