After watching both EMEA and Americas ascension I can objectively say that Americas level is just way superior. While EMEA is entertaining, they wouldn't reach double digits against 2G or AK for example. No need to even bring M80 into the conversation.

I mean yea the proof is literally last year’s ascension teams. Gentlem8s and Bleed were dogshit whereas G2 got something done. It will be the same thing this year

to be fair G2 are probably an outlier because they were pretty much a tier 1 team anyways, we will see this year because I don't see an ascension team from any region making an event

Kinda unfair comparison though. G2 was the core of The Guard and then they added Leaf once they got into VCT. The Guard had their ups and downs, but they were tier 1 level.

Hello CarnageBTC, I'm confused by your comment as I fail to see what message you are trying express?

We are talking about T2, so saying "Only T1 matters" is dismissive and a phrase out of place as T2 development is important, as for Americas just recently Sentinels managed to win Master Madrid. I hope this context helped to clear any confusion.

tried to watch AK vs 2G yesterday and I genuinely couldnt because it was just jail valorant, felt so bad for their coaches, every single round had a massive mistake for no reason

Bait post but it is true. The Americas teams have players with far more tier 1 potential. Apeks is the favorite to win Ascension and they're tier 1 rejects getting carried by Kaajak, who hopefully gets picked up by a different org. Apeks would be on the same level as GentleM8s. Loita, Larok and Comeback all have potential but they can't even play in tier 1.

Pacific ascension should have a quality team winning this year, China's ascension has like 2 imports per team lmao.

Interesting point you are trying to present cordo. Unfortunately looking at EMEA's ascended team "Gentle Mates" season and comparing it to Americas ascended team "G2" totally disproves your point.
