why dont mfs just do the disguised route

a content creator invests in a country that has cheaper contracts and just buys a really good roster for good value in that countrys league
more viewership for that scene cause CC fanbase joins
and we could prolly have content creator teams vsing each other bringing in even more viewerships

SO
@TUROK
buy a turkish roster for challengers turkey split 3
its prolly cheaper than investing in NA
and you bring big viewership to tier 2 EU
and if u spend good money your team will prolly make ascension
more viewership
so more money and youll prolly break even (idk but im hoping)

OR
@Shanks
buy a viet roster in challenger vn and u bring so much viewership and the contracts hella cheap too !!!
What could possibly be the downsidess (besides the chance that their rosters bomb out and they lose hella money)

same could work with curry and he buys a roster in south asia

for the viet roster, they have probably the two best fa agents possible rn being YesIcan (initiator igl) and Ficio (senti/viper/???). For context, YesIcan suffers from the greatest team diff in the history of valorant. Bro drops 1.36 kd on igl like wtf. Ficio is that one guy that dropped 40 (and lost) against edg in that off season tourney on viper. With a healthy dose of imports (from the Vietnamese diasporas across the globe in America and Australia mainly), I think shanks could have an absolutely dominating roster.

curry doesn't have the same clout as tarik or even shanks
now, if fns bought an indian roster, its a different story...

'' if u spend good money your team will prolly make ascension''
running an org is always dealing with a minus, no matter how good you are, how big you are or how successful you are. Sentinels lost 8 million in 2022, faze had to find new owners, orgs like c9 and eg work on a budget. The fact that you suggest content creators who don't have a reliable income to spend the same as some other orgs is unsustainable for those creators

I imagine they set a budget aswell
something that is viable in their spend range
especially if your someone like tarik. that bro swimming in cash
just get a couple sponsors, maybe join hands with another streamer
get more money in it

theres no way the cant break even, especially for someone like tarik

sorry to break it to you, most orgs you see operate in a minus on annual basis. I have seen some examples in other disciplines, pretty sure despite other settings in valorant, most of them are in the red.

yes you are right
but I think there would be a massive difference between an org doing it besides a content creator
I imagine you just need a lawyer for the contracts and money to pay the players and coach (I COULD BE SO WRONG LMFAOAOA)
you could do all the social media yourself like how toast did in the beginning and the logo too
so surely atleast tarik would break even nooo ??
contracts in turkey cheaper too...

Salaries? Org pays.
Relocation? Food pays.
Bootcamp? Org pays.
Newest equipment? Org pays.
Advertisment? Org pays.
Content, catering, all of this is on the org
