Popped off in Madrid even when his team wasn't good, always performed excellently in his region and showed he could do it on the biggest stage when his team was finally cohesive. He's not the #1 of the year (Texture probably takes that) but he deserves a mention.
Not to mention he's performed well in every international he's been to (except Shanghai but he tried, EDG were at their absolute lowest). He has Aspas level consistency in his own region and gave the greatest performance ever in a Grand Final.

aspas has had consistent great performances not just this year but the past 3 years, it's not comparable. And no he wasn't the best player in tokyo either, it was Demon1, (as painful it is to admit) Alfa, Leo, and Chronicle
