when do you think we will see a coed vct team?

i think you could realistically slot a couple of the top female val players into a few vct teams and those teams would still be fairly competitive. problem is an org would need a good reason to try a coed team when they have a pool of young male players with 1ms reaction time to pick from.

i was rewatching TH and FUT vs female G2 and the raw mechanical skill was the biggest difference, util usage was fairly even. only Petra could keep up but if she were with a male team like TL she would not look out of place tbh.

i said only a couple for a reason, very few of the female talent could actually hold their weight in vct but those few would do okay imo.

mechanics will fuck them over in the long-term. and I really doubt any of the female talent would even get scouted.

yeah that's the biggest barrier, for every mechanical female player there are 9/10 male players that are better. and probably no female player can clutch like benjy and op like KangKang in the most competitive league. however, would they do much worse than some players on teams like KOI?

i think the first female pro in vct would be picked up partly for clout since they would be the first to try.

they are unproven and GC is just another league, giving them a chance is a huge risk. Some orgs could do it for clout, but at that point they would rather turn to some washed pros

U could but there are way better players to chose from lol. why get an unproven player from a gc team who wouldnt even be the best in t2 instead of proven T1/T2 players who either have been looking for a team or been F/A for a while......

also t1 orgs would want to win something and realistically no player from gc would make any team better in t1 rn. give it maybe 5 years

i think it will eventually happen, considering valorant doesn't need the most mechanical skill to dominate. if more girls are inspired to play in like challengers and stuff i believe one day we will see co-ed teams

imo we should be discussing t2 for now, and then maybe in the future t1 will be viable

true, like others are saying they need to prove themselves outside of GC first but the catch is they still need to be scouted against ranked demons even for t2. it will take a female player who can compete with someone like sayonara.

Not if they want to make events
