Do tex and johnqt count as imports?

Ive always wondered if tex(Germany) and johnqt (Morocco) are listed as being from their native countries. They have both played in NA their whole careers, even before vct. So are they imports or are they considered AMER players by exception or something?

Im pretty sure only johnqt counts as an import, and tex just uses where his family is from

pretty sure johnqt only played in na his whole career cause he moved to canada for university or something while tex has lived in america his whole life

When any player joins a VCT team they get a choice on which region is their "home region"

This choice only applies to dual citicenships
and the database will reflect this choice and show them as resident in their non-import region

johnqt is an import I believe but tex isn’t. I think johnqt just doesn’t have citizenship but Tex just uses German flag cause of heritage.
