If talking is all you're looking for, why not just go up to her, introduce yourself like a normal person, tell her that you know she plays Valorant, and offer to play together sometime? If you aren't looking for anything romantic, then there you have it. If you are, you could easily build fond memories by playing together.

Ask a question
Compliment -> preferably something they likely put a lot of work into like their skill in an instrument or something but honestly anything works usually for a simple conversation
Also what Prancer said makes sense, try to find commonalities between you two (Idk about Valorant I've never used it as a talking point so that's experimental x-x)

if you're friends already then literally just ask her to do stuff, you don't have to say it's a date just anything.

The only window of opportunity you have is showing up early and hoping she shows up early to class so you can chat in the hallway. Your best bet might be to join your schools val team and ask if she wants to join. (Most schools have b and c teams for the bronze players)

Only realistic answer. Guys gotta remember that girls dont exist in a vacuum, you might like her but there's like 1000 variables between you two, including other guys who she might actually like already. Dude should shoot his shot directly imo instead of trying to force a friendship or just do his own thing and naturally end up talking to her.
