In all esports and sports events, Turkey is located in Europe. It is culturally closer to Europe. I do not know Chinese words, but I speak German, for example.

Turkey is EMEA, not EU. They are not European but they are pretty closely affiliated, its basically a holiday destination for Western Europeans. Plus loads of Turks live in Germany, Netherlands and UK.
