i saw so many threads during americas playoffs discussing who to replace icy on g2. is he actually good or just chooses to perform against prx specifically?

Kid is good enough, but G2 don't need him to be HIM. They play so well as a team anyways, and he clearly fits their system.

I think during the beginning of americas he was missing raze nades and wasn’t getting the kills he needed to get as duelist. But now he’s definitely adjusted and hes fine. I think g2s play style doesn’t promote a lot of flashy plays so their duelists havent shined as much as they do on other teams

icy isnt bad but hes not exactly a star duelist he gets diffed very very hard when playing better duelists like vs aspas in americas GF and when w00t diffed him in shanghai. hes a good fit for team and good role player but imo if g2 had a world class level duelist who could adapt to their system theyd win 9/10 times bcus there so disciplined already if they had top tier duelist to pop off in key momments it wud be even better

he is a good player,also is a good duelist with fastly improve,but he still need time or some talent time(or aura) to make him become one of the best duelist player like aspas,t3 or derke.
