Places to Visit in SA

I have been playing a lot of Geoguessr these days and I fell in love with a lot of places from Peru, Brazil, Colombia and some other nations. I am planning to go on a trip to one of these countries. Which one do you guys suggest I should visit first and how much should I save for a comfortable trip?

I'll have to research on places to visit there. So far the pictures I have seen of Argentina doesn't look that diff from Canada or North US so idk what to expect from them

That's comforting to hear, I'm planning on traveling soon because i've been really wanting to experience more of the world. Always that fear of going to another country and not being welcomed though

That's not it. People can be harsh sometimes, though, restricting yourself from travelling just because they hate you is not good!

I recommend Peru for it's scenery and food. It's got some super nice corn dishes and cuy which I hear is bussin.

I like how Brazil has these different colored trees all around the country. They are really pretty. Peru is for sure on a different level though.

I would recommend four countries: Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.

Peru: Machu Picchu
Chile: Santiago
Argentina: Patagonia
Brazil: Lençois Maranhenses

There are a lot more places to visit in these countries, since I am more familiar with Brazil I will give you more recommendations from here: Maragogi, Fernando de Noronha, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro (quite obvious), and Foz do Iguaçu.

Also, you MUST visit the Amazon, I've seen some videos and there are good tours from Peru and Brazil.

when I read SA idk why I expected it to be South Asia and not south america

also do visit Pakistan and India and Bangladesh some really nice places

idk about india or bangladesh but I recently went to Hunza and all I can say is it was absolutely surreal

I am actually from India (punjab region) so I know a bunch about both India and Pakistan places. I always wanted to visit Nanakana Sahib and Karachi but all the border disputes and visa restrictions never gave me a chance lul. Bangladesh idk much about tho besides the capital Dhaka.

the region of india/pak/bangladesh gets called the sub-continent because of the history of that area having broken off from africa and then pushing up into asia hence sub for half or part and continent being self explanatory
