but the risk isnt all that high

What makes you think it is not a high risk high reward?
I mean you're guaranteed sacrificing yourself so unless you get 2 you'll only be either equalising the numbers or you whiff your shots and now it's a 5v4 with some major util gone.
I understand it's not that all crazy but that's for sure one of the most high risk high reward plays of all time

its not high risk high reward because you know they are there
as long as u get one with ur ult its 4v4 its an even fight
theres no way they wouldve seen that coming in a million years
the shot isnt exactly hard to hit either
set play, practiced in scrims, and boom into action and it works

Yeah honestly fair, but still the fact that those shots are still easier to whiff (don't ask me it's the shots where the enemies don't look at you that you whiff the most, can attest from personal experience) makes it look that much more ballsy.

i feel like its ballsy because its innovative and hasnt been practiced
i feel like this is no different that then double updrafts on fracture that u used to be able to do with two updrafts
only difference is that this play is like a gimmick, ppl will be aware of it soon
feel like its definitely viable on ecos as a 1 on 1 trade when ur on eco is definitely fair

trading players almost always favours the attack sided team
so even if smoggy only got one kill that would still be worse for edg
they would be at a disadvantage
edg were banking on smoggy getting atleast 2 kills or more
and possibility of missing knives in that scenario is also very possible and then the enemy seeing you and shooting back
so yes
it is a high risk high reward

The risk is assuming your jett will be able to adjust to the weird and unfamiliar angle and get a kill more valuable than their own life, also ya know, assuming they even have good info in the first place.

i mean they mustve for sure practiced in scrims, its apparant because of the sova dart
he just put it into use
a 1v1 kill along with HUGE info is more than enough of a fair trade
the jett literally spotted all of them there

The risk is high because the inevitable outcome is the Jett will die. This round is confirmed going to be x v 4 after this play. What isn't set in stone is whether the Jett will actually have minimum 1 kill to balance out the numbers- in which case it would be a whiff.

We have seen pro players whiff even point blank shots, so even if they have done this in scrim and practice etc, we know it won't 100% translate into an actual match.
