Reason why EG got so good

Im not sure if its just me but when the old EG roster had that reserve roster and would scrim against them secretly, it was actually insane. They would improve as a team so rapidly and fast and might be something other vct teams could consider in a way. Ofc signing 10 people is not ideal but crazy how EG had that, and how they benefited toward them.

I wonder how the reserve roster wouldve done in matches and how good they were as scrum partners for eg main roster

apparently in scrims they played the comp of the enemy team and ran their plays so EG was very well prepared

That's pretty smart from potter but now she doesn't have that and instead runs heavy anti

They were test dummies. They basically scrimmed the same scenarios with the main team such as the main team attacking a site with a 5 stack of the reserve players like 30 times.

Demon1 wasn't with the team until a day before their first match so they couldn't prac with him, that's a factor to consider seeing how dominant they were qualifying to Tokyo

That's probably how they went from the noobest to the greatest of all in valorant history.

demon1 was also a crucial factor behind their success !!

The biggest strength of the reverse roster was it allowed EG to get practise that closely resembled what their next opponents were doing.
The eg reverse roster would copy the defaults and comps of the teams EG were set to play.
