honestly i dont get how the championship points spot works

is it the team with championship points qualifies through that regardless, and so if FNATIC wins all 4 teams in playoffs are in, or is it the top team in Championship points which isn't top 3 in playoffs goes through?

I really feel like it should be the former, especially with how utterly dogshit champs point distribution has been, ew format.
