But being a World Champion is a feeling that you will never experience.
EzWinz [#5]Winning 3 masters is better then winning champions as masters is an INTERNATIONAL tournament so as Champions so you would experience the same feeling
no

Being a World Champion (VCT Champs Winner) is worth more than winning 3 Masters
Azzelastia [#8]Being a World Champion (VCT Champs Winner) is worth more than winning 3 Masters
Usually the rates is this winning 2 masters = champions
Winning 3 masters = champions + master

Retarded ass take
EzWinz [#11]Did your team win a champs nah i dont think so
My team doesn’t need to win champs to refute some retarded ass shit
flanador [#13]My team doesn’t need to win champs to refute some retarded ass shit
If you understand what i am saying is that there is 3 international tournaments 2 masters and 1 champions
Champions is equalvent to 2 masters as they will reach equal supply.
flanador [#13]My team doesn’t need to win champs to refute some retarded ass shit
Clearly you don't understand valorant esports and all other esports
SmithAndWinston [#12]Why value champs so high when right before every champs there are always huge meta changes and a new map introduced into the pool
on god bro
flanador [#13]My team doesn’t need to win champs to refute some retarded ass shit
Alright let's just say this who is more valueable Chronicle who won berlin, sao paulo, and tokyo or BoneCold who won champs
EzWinz [#15]If you understand what i am saying is that there is 3 international tournaments 2 masters and 1 champions

Thanks for the yap session and all, but equating 2 masters to a champs is stupid. Even more so 3 masters to a champs/masters.
You’re simply devaluing/inflating the worth of said trophies. 3 masters being the equal to a champs would be fair at best.
Acend as a whole fluked that trophy so at least choose comparable players. Lock/In doesn’t have the same worth as a masters/champions to add onto my point.
Hades_Loves_Rb [#4]you are correct, Rb is the goat
Why is he getting downvoted but not the cShit guy or the C0M guy.
SomeoneLikeU [#22]Why is he getting downvoted but not the cShit guy or the C0M guy.
because rb hasn't won champs?

Explain 2 masters is the default in riot, and one champs is default so value wise it is 2 master - 1 champions
Mr. Yappington
EzWinz [#24]Explain 2 masters is the default in riot, and one champs is default so value wise it is 2 master - 1 champions
Mr. Yappington
You're equating 2 masters = 1 champs because riot holds 2 masters and 1 champs only? Seriously? Actual smooth brain
flanador [#25]You're equating 2 masters = 1 champs because riot holds 2 masters and 1 champs only? Seriously? Actual smooth brain
2 masters is a bigger reward than one champs win, as there is gonna be 4 champs winners and only 2
2x masters winners
flanador [#25]You're equating 2 masters = 1 champs because riot holds 2 masters and 1 champs only? Seriously? Actual smooth brain
Also since getting a spree of 2 masters win is way harder than getting only one champs win smooth brainer
EzWinz [#28]2 masters is a bigger reward than one champs win, as there is gonna be 4 champs winners and only 2
2x masters winners
Champs is the most important trophy at the culmination of the year whilst Masters aren't. Are back to back trophies impressive? Yes, but anyone would prefer winning a champs than to win 2x masters.

2 masters trophies even without a spree > champs
SmithAndWinston [#12]Why value champs so high when right before every champs there are always huge meta changes and a new map introduced into the pool
way more money, more teams way more valuable.
EzWinz [#32]2 masters trophies even without a spree > champs
You can cope all you'd like, but that's just not the reality of things
SmithAndWinston [#12]Why value champs so high when right before every champs there are always huge meta changes and a new map introduced into the pool
dude has never played real sports and it shows.
same reason the Olympics are valued more than any other international competition
LouBag [#37]dude has never played real sports and it shows.

I can't believe a couch potato who types on VLR is trying to tell another user they haven't played sports before😂😂😂
Most casual fans/normies do not care about or feel for the hype difference between masters and champs. Both events are just a marketing ploy for riot to promote skins, new maps, or new agents.
If Riot cared for the competitive integrity and prestige value between champs and masters. They wouldn't make so many questionable changes to schedules, formats, and huge meta-shifts in the middle of the season.
The Olympics is an event every 4 years to promote world peace and unity through a worldwide showcase of various sporting competitions with teams based on countries. Champs comes nowhere close to what the Olympics is trying to promote or is in principle.
BTW certain sports like soccer value the World Cup as a more prestigious and bigger event than the Olympics.
And there's no way you're trying to say that a masters in valorant is like the In Season Tournament in the NBA and champs in valorant equates to the NBA Finals
EzWinz [#9]Usually the rates is this winning 2 masters = champions

So Sacy > Chronicle All time?
Chronicle won 2021 masters and 2023 masters which = Sacy's 2022 champs, and single elim lock in << Masters 2024
So Sacy > chronicle?

yes, that is what I am saying.
it's the END OF THE YEAR TOURNAMENT
you gain CHAMPIONS POINTS from the lower tier tournaments
just because you can't seem to see the difference between the two events doesn't mean there isn't one.
1 champ every year. it's the biggest tournament. period. end of story.
juju112 [#33]way more money, more teams way more valuable.
Good argument, the prize pool difference is pretty massive but that means we would have to start devaluing the first masters of the year when its prize pool is only 500k to the 1mil of the 2nd masters of the year.
The main problem comes from Riot doing a poor job of making the distinction between masters and champs in the first place back in 2021. Now all fans just naturally value both events as a major in their eyes since 2021. I think its still poorly advertised between the difference of the events. Champs just feels like its just marketing the champs bundle or whatever new agent or map they're releasing, and the hype from fans dont feel immensely different.

Masters are glorified qualifiers for Champs
Kirya [#27]Champs event is 1.5 of masters MAXIMUM
Champs are not rly that much different from masters
Bro prize pool is 2.250.000 million what you sayin
emirerays [#52]Bro prize pool is 2.250.000 million what you sayin
so? Winning 2 masters events is way harder and more impressive
Azzelastia [#50]Masters are glorified qualifiers for Champs
this is just copium speaking because the ex eg players couldnt find their form this year
HiroshimaLover45 [#23]because rb hasn't won champs?
Yea but he wasn’t one of the worst on his team ever.

Being "THE FIRST VALORANT CHAMPION" is more special, the first page of the book is a historical moment.

masters 1 should be less impressive than masters 2; 8 team event with a shorter qualification span allows flukes or teams without actual long standing skill to be better. (KC was able to make masters off really good set plays and comps) also the better teams aren't necessarily the teams that have outstanding play but rather teams that have gotten a stable base on the game before others. (NRG wasn't good but was able to pull through fine in kickoff due to being a team that already had chemistry between 2 groups of players.) Even a team like sentinels wasn't necessarily better at the time than any 2023 champs contender as much as they just had so many reps in and was simply ahead of other teams. The rule normally is either more teams = more prestigious (except for lock-in which had no qualification process) or later in the season = more prestigious
Galactc [#62]Only one on that team that deserves it
nah, starxo and zeek was also valid back in the day
