In every VCT there has been 1 exceptional player that rose from nothing and owned everyone. Last 3 years were

2022-YAY
2023-DEMON1
2024-yall suggest
BUFF163 [#6]2021- chronicle

Steelz [#7]2021 chronicle
2022 yay
2023 leo
2024 tbd with woot or t3xture
Will largely depend on how both of them perform at champs but I'd give t3xture the edge over wo0t as he reached the grand final of two internationals and diffed wo0t in their match at Shanghai to win the trophy
x_knowitall39_x [#4]gotta be someone from geng so far but 2024 aint over yet
wait i was gonna say no one fits but i forgot karon. even then he isnt on the same level as the others

fair
kanyefan4238173 [#2]2024 wouldnt be fitting for anyone unless wo0t wins champs mvp

in no universe are leo and alfa better than Demon1 last year. in champs last year, he had double the rounds of both alfa and leo and yet had a higher rating than both of them. he was also the highest rated player in champs last year. yes alfa and leo did better in tokyo, but where it counted more Demon1 showed up better than both of them.

Alfajer and Leo both dominanted -> LOCK//IN, Tokyo
Demon1 dominated -> Champions 2023
https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/1494/champions-tour-2023-masters-tokyo. look at the dominance in the FNC vs EG games as well.
also Demon1 is on the duelist role. Stats isnt what it is all about. Leo and Alfajer consistency and impact throughout the year >>

how can you miss on all 3
chronicle: master mvp, champs finalist
aspas: champs mvp, winner and 2x BR champion
leo: best player of lockin, 2nd best player of tokyo, 2nd best player of champs, 2 trophies

Rating doesn't count just ACS. Demon1 also wasn't even playing in Lock/in. Fact of the matter is, Demon1 showed up when it mattered most, and he showed up in a way nobody has done.
