but this haven comp just isn't it, i dont see how deadlock is better than a cypher/kj. even viper is better for delaying hits

i've been picking her up recently cause i love playing agents that are viewed as bad (mained yoru on release), people that play her like cypher cry and call her bad but her whole gimmick is that she isn't cypher or kj
but like yoru in vct, i think pros will figure out deadlock and run her as a secondary sentinel (like SEN on lotus)

tainted or not, you cant speak on utility usage or whatnot if ur just playing ranked, if u have any experience in scrims and matches its another story, your 125 hours of deadlock in ranked means fuck all

???? the sensors and walls FNS were throwing were objectively bad, walling off B 10 seconds into the round on Haven is a bad play in bronze, yet alone pro play

i 5 stack with my friends for fun and to coach them. we only play against other 5 stacks and the average rank is always balanced. my winrate in 5 stacks is like 50% while soloque last act it was 70%.
how am I a loser for playing with a bunch of friends every day? XD

kyro1 [#28]facts all these niche agents like deadlock most pros are clueless and play it the same as any other agent in the class. i see so many terrible deadlock walls and just a lack of understanding the characters strengths same with yoru like i would say there are only a few good yorus in all of vct.
Yoru used to be criminal, but i think over time pros have definitely gotten better at him, and quite a few have mastered him to the level of jett.
the same happened with Gekko when he first came out, and im sure pros will get better at Deadlock. But if they can't play her... don't bother 😂
Pondy [#31]I'm curious. People are saying Deadlock is being picked as an anti-Neon but I feel like Cypher still fits that role better. I get that his trips get broken more easily but Deadlock's kit just lacks the flexibility.
yeah DL isn't even anti Neon... She can run through a trip without getting stunned and her slide does the same. She can slide out of a net if its coming for her and slide out of an ult as well, Neon (and Yoru especially) counter deadlock, so i have no idea why teams would pick her for that when Cypher is way more consistent and reliable at shutting her down.
deadlock is strong vs Gekko and Raze, so those are the comps i think she's best picked vs.

yeah i remember when gekko came out and pros experimented with it just to not pick up utility or throw it in a place where it could be recovered
