it's not just beating furia, it's what happened last year and how that changed to this year
every single player on EG that left has become worse this year
the one player who didn't leave EG is still playing very well
EG as a whole is on an upward trajectory, while the players who left EG are on a downward trajectory
Lastly, EG had a roster of people expected to play in T2 + jawg, and yet has won matches against decent teams
