China underrating

I know everyone knows that CN teams arent as good, some of them arent even as good as some Ascensions teams. But we have to realize that some of them are improving (Slowly), and I feel like that they just need a little push and more time and it will show their progress.

Teams that have much potential:
FPX (Almost beating 1st and 2nd in Shanghai)
EDG (Need a change in tactics and coaching crew but overall still average)
DRG (If Luke and Shion7 performs good they win if they troll they lose)
TE (Amazing talent and have one of the NRG opps)
NOVA (One of the worst chinese teams in peeps eyes but they are acc decent rn in the scene rn)
BLG (NRG opps and they lookin fresh with nephhh and the return of FNS)

unironically Wolves have such good talent & natural structure, but their mental is one of the worst to ever grace the international leagues (if not THE worst). even with language issues with their early season coach they still have really good moments sometimes

Most of the chinese teams does not have good mental in LAN, not to be a hater I love the chinese teams but they get way too nervous at LAN events and underperforms

the only team I would say have gotten over it completely is FPX atm, which isn't really saying much considering literally all of them are fucking psychopaths with how they play.

EDG players look hella boomed
Trace always blow it at the important moments
All Gamers are serial map 1 and 2 chokers (hopefully they addressed that)
Wolves has an entire roster that shits the bed as soon as they get in comfortable positions

To DRG, Nova, and BLG's credit their problems in the past were purely gameplay or calling. When they fixed their problems they look hella promising. I could see any of these 3 teams leveling up like crazy next year as they practice more

I've been paying attention to Split 2 for cn and the improvement from so many of these teams is pretty insane. NOVA look so much better now since they picked up SWERL as their duelist and Ezeir as their controller. All Gamers are known chokers but their teamplay is excellent. JDG have looked so much better since comming in a different language. Trace has an insane amount of firepower right now. The only teams I'd consider to be outright disappointing are TEC, Wolves and EDG.

Wolves need to be fucking studied under a microscope. atp i do not know how they have so many good early round starts and halves, and then proceed to give it away every time

I was about to start praising Wolves for their new igl calling a good game against EDG and initially NOVA but then they lost a 10-2 lead on Icebox last night lmao

ngl it might be because literally everyone on that roster have been in team environments that were overall quite mid. Maybe they're just not used to initially being such a good team, and the expectations from earlier in the year weighed them down. idfk i'm yapping excuses but their falloff from kickoff legit needs to be investigated

JDG also looking fresh. The Rare Atom moments are back. If they win out they make playoffs and I expect them to make a deep run.
