Everyone is fuming over South Asia, but nowhere has it been mentioned that SA has the same number of slots as SEA. If we look historically, SA always had 1 slot in all VCT tournaments, be it lcq or ascension.
Or did I miss information about slot distribution for the next ascension?

Agx192 [#2]I swear it was mentioned that there will be 16 teams in each leauge and if the they are making five different leauges they will give them the same amount of slots at ascension so yeah the whole of SEA will get probably 2 ascension slots and SA/OCE will get 2 slots .
No way they are giving same number of slot to SEA and SA/OCE. They probably merged SEA to lower the expenses in hosting lan in 6 different countries.

Hopefully they don't but it would be weird if sea gets more slots than kr for example so it would make since to give everyone the same amount

not weird. KR best tier 2 teams got grouped last year ascension.

Every T2 region in the world have the same number of spot inside their region :
- Every AMER got 2 slot
- Every EMEA got 1 slot plus 1 playin slot
- Every Pacific got 1 slot
