Visa Issues

Is there anything that Riot can reasonably do about the consistent issues regarding (particularly Turkish and Russian) players missing events due to Visa issues? As someone who has never had to obtain a Visa I'm not super well versed in how the whole process works, but as someone who watches VCT it's kind of annoying to constantly see players missing events because of Visas.

I guess they could change where stuff is hosted but honestly that costs a lot more than people are willing to believe although then again moving out of LA is probably cheaper

Besides changing the location for events probably no (prolly not an option cuz that la studio space they own is comfy for them and I don’t blame em)

They can however intervene by applying for all the visas for players from the same country rather than having the orgs do them differently
So like submit them all at the same time as they process work visas for any international staff they have, talent etc
The orgs obviously pay the visa fee and what other extra processing fee

Like when it comes to football Fifa and national FAs intervene so riot can look for some sort of deal like that where they get fast tracked

The agent for the consulate who processes ur ish is random and if u draw some1 new or unaware of esports or some1 who doesn’t
