You can consider the loss to Bonkers to be the isolated example too though. Damwon only lost to SCARZ and Bonkers, and they beat BLEED and OGT.

Beating eventual winners, losing to 2nd place, and getting upset. Idk. Pretty sure in that tournament Damwon beat SEA's best team and SA's best team, lost to JP's best team, and also lost to OCE's best team.

That's what I meant too that both of them are isolated examples and we can't look too much into them.
I hope and I feel this year Korean team will make playoffs but they haven't got what it takes to win it against some of those heavy hitting SEA teams. Would be happy to be proven wrong though

I mean if anything Korea has a winning record against SEA teams in general no? Idk where the narrative came from that SEA were aimdiffing KR teams when in reality I'm pretty sure no SEA team has a winning record over Korea, besides maybe PRX and even then they still looked mortal vs GEN.G this year.

Like I said earlier, during Ascension Dplus didn't even lose to an SEA team and the one time they did face an SEA team, it was SEA's dominant number 1 team and they 2-0ed them.
