Honestly with chet pursuing CS, NRG might look to sign jawgemo + potter and unbench demon1 (assuming victor and crashies are dropped). Now the only thing missing is scan initiator, s0m can do sova, fns can play fade, with ethan on gekko, and because everyone on that team can play smokes, demon1/jawg for jett/raze, and fns has senti, roles are covered, igl is covered, firepower is covered, strats are covered between fns and potter

i very much doubt potter would sign to NRG. despite all the fumbles EG as an org have had, they jump started Potter’s career, kept her around over every other player and have given her everything she’s wanted (good example is how she said she’s always wanted supaman on a roster).
i’m pretty sure it’s for these reasons why Potter decided to stay with EG in the first place, im sure she got much better offers during the off season but she’s loyal to the org rn and with how EG looked at the end of last split she might stay.
Easy, nothing against victor but - victor unbench demon1. demon1(jett ) smoke flex when s0m plays raze, other roles remain the same. Basically old eg.. all the changes happens to Optic Nrg everyone else either dropped or bench while victor remain on the team, and the same problem remain, don't have tk be a genius to figure out why. Jawgemo is not just a Raze/Smokes flex.
He’s excels as a hard-entry like Aspas and Zekken and it doesn’t quite make sense to swap him with Demon1 on certain maps since the NRG system isn’t like old EG’s.
I also think swapping roles between 3 players to fill recon on certain maps is way too messy. It’s better for NRG to pick up a dedicated Recon player like Verno/N4rrate and shift s0m into the EG Jawgemo role — shuffling with Demon1 depending on the map.
demon1 won't ever be an entry, but having demon1 on jett on some maps is a necessity. for example, ascent: putting jawgemo as jett instead of demon1 is stupid. it should be demon1 jett, ethan kayo, s0m sova, jawg omen, fns killjoy.
for recon, fns has already played fade, ethan can play gekko well as well as skye if she returns to meta, and s0m is the only one who has to adapt - which he has shown he can do, 5 month off season learning sova should be easy.
also, ethan and demon1 have synergy with jawgemo, and fns and s0m have synergy with ethan. adding a new guy would also require new synergy building.
