It's do or die for AG. They have to grasp the reins of destiny and steer it into their lane if they want to qualify to champs. JDG are looking better than they ever have this season, seeming to have finally figured stuff out. Their catastrophic loss against Trace—while seeming like an off day—could serve to be a bad omen for things to come. Ego has the prep, Sword9 has the calls, and everyone else has the individual mechanics, but it's up to the whole team to prove to themselves and the audience that they are indeed the great team they want to be.
nevermind DRG lost to fucking wolves lol
xSaneZ [#3]AG 2-0
edit: nvm I want JDG to win so they can be at playoffs
How can they not qualify tho?
Splash3 [#5]How can they not qualify tho?
JDG lost to NOVA early on, if they lose this match they will have the same W/L as NOVA, so NOVA takes precedence regardless of round differential
edit: it was DRG who lost to NOVA, not JDG. Mb

Don't JDG still move on due to map differential? Worst case for JDG is 11/13, NOVA are at 11/14

yeah but itll be a 4 way tie

I don't think map differential matters, AG (11/10) is above BLG (12/10) despite winning one less map but overall winning one more round
Nevermind though I got it mixed up, JDG isn't in the same group as NOVA it was DRG who lost to them

Nova definitely won against JDG I still remember that sad day
K4ziuHa [#11]Nova definitely won against JDG I still remember that sad day
LOL yeah, but it wasn't during stage 2 though so the rule doesn't apply to them
Splash3 [#9]yeah but itll be a 4 way tie
No, only either JDG or NOVA qualifies. You can check liquipedia to verify this. Because both WOL and DRG lost to NOVA

Cool and all but it does apply

I'm going to choose to believe that AG did little to no prep for this game. Hopefully they can fire on all cylinders in their opening playoffs game. The chinese team quality for champs is the best it's ever been, so it's going to be an uphill battle.
charleser [#27]for real JDG legit look like top 2 in china again after they fixed their communication issues, I'd say FPX/Trace/JDG/BLG are top 4 right now and it's a shame EDG is a lock for champs
wasted ass spot ngl

EDG S1mon had a good debut though, just like other new rookies this year

dawg EDG is still winning the split lmfao

Tfym? EDG is great rn, you think BLG deserves to be there despite losing to EDG???

Does TEC deserve to make champs despite playing like the worst team in cn because they beat FPX? (who everyone considers the #1 team in cn). If we're judging who has been playing the best valorant in cn this split it's the 4 I said. EDG looked better against NOVA and BLG but I struggle to say they're deserving of the champs slot unless they look great in playoffs.

I think BLG does deserve to be there tbf, but EDG has been looking very good, their playstyle is back to more of what they're used to and it's pretty clear they're playing good valorant, surprisingly with Nobody out of all people IGLing.
