Go to your local internet caffes/gaming clubs and try mousepads there since most of them using multiple types of mousepads and see what works best for you and then ask staff what model it is and then buy the same model or similar one.

The first two replies are why you shouldn't be asking this question here.

It matters a lot, just like mouse feet. Half the pros don't use Artisan pads for nothing. It's not like you HAVE to get an Artisan. You can get a cheap control pad like Aqua Control, it's just that you have to clean it a lot and take care of it a lot. But the more important factor is choosing between speed or control surface.

LOL it matters a lot my ass, for your information I have 5 mouse pads in my posession which are artisan, ss qck, logitech, and zowie. I barely notice any difference in my performance by switching mouse pads (ex immo-3 btw). It all comes down to preference and the comfort of each mouse pads provide. Just get anything decent, and save your bucks on peripherals such as monitor or mouse << both of these matters a lot.

You called nerds and half the mfs replying don’t know what they’re talking about… they just like me fr

Idk man, aim training freaks use glass mousepads- pros live and die by a lot of the more expensive artisan mousepads- it’s all preference but mousepads affect really small parts of your performance

Just use a basic mousepad cause no mousepad gaming would kill your mouse as soon as it can, and Expensive mousepads are only advisable if you rich/really good to the point where that shit matters

That's because aim training freaks are losers who switch their sens every two seconds depending on the scenario. You can't do that shit mid game. That's why their dumbasses use glass pad.

Control pad for Val/CS/tacfps and speed pad for trackfps. That's always been the golden rule and depending on which surface you pick, it definitely matters a lot

I think any control pad is good especially for high sens for lower sens i'd use a speed pad imo

unless you are immo3+, peripherals like mouse pads, keyboards and any monitor better than 144hz 1ms does not matter

only get them under immo3+ if you want them, dont get them because you think they will make you improve overnight (i and many other people have made the same mistake)

test out a bunch of mousepads at a store and find what material feels good and buy it as long as it doesnt break the bank

mousepads matter in micro adjustments and making your aim steady. most pros in valorant use like 3 mousepads. Artisan zero (new one), Lgg saturn pro, or vaxee pa. these pads are not mud pads and offer slightly more speed compared to a qck heavy or gsr 2.

You can aim well with literally anything that isn't what is considered enthusiast-grade. If you don't see the point in spending a lot of money into mouse pads, then don't it won't make your aim better, it'll just give you a nicer experience using it. The same could be said about mice, but once you step into the space, it's hard to go back to regular on the shelf peripherals.

(but if you want to treat yourself, look into artisan or LGG)

the Zowie GSR is the ceiling for mousepads for recommending to absolutely anyone (so good for 99.7% of people)
