valorant's crowd doesn't even come close
it's been 5 years already and Val crowd is still a graveyard, compared to CS
I'd like to see Valorant crowds get more passionate, but really doubt it'd happen. Valorant's target audience is way softer(in my opinion)
First LAN with a crowd was in mid 2022 bro, you can’t expect these things to happen overnight, how long did CSGO release?
competitive val has been popular for much less time and competitive cs has been around FAR longer
bro val will be lucky if it doesnt die in the next 3 years lmao
pray to your god, any you believe in that valve is incompetent enough to keep ignoring their dogshit anticheat because thats the only thing where val is better than cs
all the sings in the crowd and everything, riot is way too soft and wouldn't allow the karrigan scoreline sign or stuff like "suck me dry", "fuck you fl0m"...
riot doesnt let people do shit bro, the most they can do is scream but compared to cs, there is only nerds in the crowd so everybody is shy
I feel like VAL doesn't have the same fans, but riot is braindead, the crowds could be a lot better with a better stadium and more people. They always have small venues which is dumb when they only have 3 events a year
valorant community is so different to cs that is the main reason and riot is strict like imagine fining players for shooting bodies atsp u play ur first time on cs u ask something ur getting kicked in valorant ur mostly gonna get people to teach you
well, CS literally has 25 years of competitive LAN gaming on its back while Valorant has 2. On top of that CS is a bigger game than val so naturally there will be a bigger crowd.
also that the internet was different back then and the shit talk was crazy good now everybody gets cancelled for random shit
iirc riot also has way more regulations and rules for crowds in events than CS
I could be misremembering but I swear I heard this
bro just look at this its so funny icl
https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/1d56pa6/karrigan_hltv_stats_exposed/
yeah riot would not let that fly sadly
stuff like that and the cameraman and casters reacting to it is what makes the CS vibe better unfortunately. I wish RIOT would fix this and be less restrictive, but it's way harder because they are catering to a T rated audience rather than M rated audience.
someone replied with boaster stats on twitter and it started some huge shit yinsu talking like when yay was getting trashtalked she said anything if i was a pro im ngl i would laugh my ass of to getting trolled even though i had shat my pants this exists in every sports so why are esports like this
this thread is so funny "CS is 25 years old" as if the people in the crowd arent the same age as valorant crowds 18-30 with some older people here and there
valorant is just a game that cultivates pussies
